In January of 2005, we released a half dozen disposable cameras into the hands of an unsuspecting public. Attached to each camera were specific instructions: take a picture, and then pass the camera on to someone else. Once each 27-exposure camera was full, it was to be mailed back to us. If we received any of these cameras back, we would get the film developed, and share the photos here.

Where would the cameras travel and what kind of images would be captured along the way? Would we ever see them again?

If you've found one of our roaming cameras, and the camera is full, we hope you'll mail it back to us so we can develop and post the pictures. We will gratefully refund your postage costs.

Two years in.

Dec 28th/06

Two years have passed, and none of our 6 roaming cameras have returned home. We've heard rumors of cameras reaching Scotland, and maybe Montana, but we don't yet know if we'll ever see the results of these journeys...
