T-shirts Circa 1980
Aug 11th/09
So while at a friends house the other day we were minding our own business, when what should happen but the beloved Nintendo dies. My idea? Take the cartridge out and blow on it as hard as I can -oh the joys of 80's technology. Anyway, and thus my lame t-shirt Idea was born - a picure of a Nintendo cartridge with the words 'blow me'. ... ?Then we got to thinking about the good old 80's so we came up with these;
'Oh snap' with a picture of a snap bracelet.
'Crazy for Swazy' which apparently my friends mum had a t-shirt like that...
'don't put Baby in a corner' she also had that as well.
Something from billy madison, like stop looking at me swan... or the shampoo/conditioner thingy...
'Big Pink Neon Letters'... (well I thought it was funny)
I could go on, I'm just not going to.
when I grow up...

...When I grow up I want to be:a brave environmentalist,
a compasionate counsellor,
a world traveller,
a civilly disobedient activist,
a loving mother
a strong woman,
a spokeswoman for socialist's,
a bad ass scrabble player,
a funky foster mom,
a sexy wife,
a conscious consumer,
a crazy art lady,
a raging lefty,
a fun-loving feminist,
a transparent teacher,
and a happy, healthy human being.
I want to be a honey bee too...
What does everyone else want to be?

... So I deleted old posts because they were completely random and silly. That being said I will try to stay focused on a topic I know best - me.First, I have to say that acupuncture is amazing! Some people are aware of the insane pain I had in my wrist from years of a nasty bone disease. The pain is significantly less after only 5 sessions. I would highly, highly recommend it!
Secondly school is going well, not as well as my genius of an older brother... but well. I have fallen deeply in love with Criminal sociology (Criminological Theory)...
I'd also like to say that I love the University of Winnipeg, LOVE IT! However I will be moving to greener pastures next September to complete a BSW. I am excited and saddened in the same breath. I'm aware of the fact that at the UofM I am just a number. This is because I watch my significant other enter 250 grades into an endless spreadsheet for ONE class. (crazy eh?) I'm really hoping that the UofM professors are the jolly chatterboxes like the UofW's... I'd be lost without my auditory learning. However I'm again concerned that class sizes may play a role... :/
Finally, the most exciting news! I am engaged to the man of my dreams; Mr. David Treloar. I'd like to take this opportunity to give props to one of BFP's founders and my big brother for setting Daivd and I up 5 short years ago. My family is so thrilled (especially my parents) and so excited for upcoming nuptials planned for 2010. I'm also excited to become part of the Treloar family. I still can't wipe this silly grin off of my face three weeks after the fact.
Anyway, I'm missing all the BFP members, hope we can get together soon.
Take care everyone!
Richelle
